Symposia: required details for submission 

The organizing committee will accept proposals for two-hour (up to six presentations) or three hour (up to eight presentations) symposia. Presentation length must be 15 minutes with 5 minutes for queries and discussion. Proposals must not exceed 1200 words and must include the following information:

  • Symposium title
  • Organiser (s) name, affiliation, and complete contact information, including email address
  • Proposed theme and justification; justifying why the topic is appropriate and significant for the theme of the conference
  • Expected outcomes and, if appropriate, plans for communication of results
  • A tentative list of speakers, presentation titles, and whether each speaker has agreed to participate
  • Whether any necessary funding for organiser and speaker expenses has been secured (For example: Are funds available for speaker travel and other expenses?)
  • Please submit the proposal as a word document.
